Who I am
Hi, my name is Nomso. I recently graduated with First Class honors in Software Engineering from Nile University. For the past year, Iāve been investing my time, energy, and personal resources into building my startup, RefreeG.
What Iām Building
RefreeG is a crowdfunding platform for Africa that makes giving transparent, accountable, and accessible. It lets people support causes in real time through blockchain-backed tools and trusted payment methods like Paystack, cryptocurrency, and bank transfers.
Why It Matters
Across Africa, many struggle to fund education, healthcare, vocational training, and even basic necessities. Traditional platforms often overlook these needs or lack the trust people deserve. RefreeG is changing that by creating a platform built for our realities - transparent, secure, and accessible.
What Iāve Achieved So Far
In just one year of bootstrapping, weāve built the foundation and gained real traction. So far, weāve crowdfunded over $2,000, and we even won the Nile University Startup 5.0 competition. People are already using RefreeG and believing in its mission. Now, itās time to scale.
